Skin show is ok for modern Cinema: Shruti Haasan
One of the most sought after glamorous dolls of South Indian Cinema Shruthi Haasan has opened her mouth regarding director Suraj’s controversial statements on actresses.
In one of the promotions of Vishal’s starrer ‘Okkadochadu’ the film’s director Suraj has stirred controversy by making derogatory statements on heroines. He praised lead actress Tamanna’s glamor and went on saying that heroines are roped only for the skin show in songs. This was not going well with the actresses down South. Tamannah and others have demanded an apology from the director and finally, Suraj has apologized in media. Most independent actress Shruti Haasan too expressed her views in Suraj’s statement. Condemning the director’s sentence, she claimed that there is nothing wrong in exposing as it is a compulsory part of Modern Cinema along with performance. Anyhow, she stated that the exposing should be within the limits.
She has wished everyone for the New Year from the sets of her upcoming sensational flick ‘Katamarayuda’. Her other film with father Kamal Haasan ‘Sabhash Naidu’ is going on in the U.S
