Virushka Turns Vegan: Anushka Sharma And Virat Kohli Are Fitter Than Ever Thanks To Their New Vegan Diet.
Vegans all over the world felt victorious after hearing Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli is now a vegan. Virat announced yesterday that he stopped eating meat, egg and milk products long time ago. Virat’s wife and actress Anushka Sharma is a well-known vegan for almost five years.
Most celebrities are choosing a vegan lifestyle to stop cruelty against animals. These celebrities do not use wool products, don’t consume eggs, or use leather products; meat is of course a no-no.
But can one live a healthy life by eating only plants and soybean?
Vegan Diet and protein
It is a wrong concept that a vegan person does not get enough protein. Actually some vegan foods contain more protein than meats and milk. Almond milk, tofu, lentil, are full of protein, and then there are vegan milk shakes which are now easily available in Indian market.
Kohli now lives on a fruit and plant based diet and he admitted he is feeling calmer and more energetic.
Vegan Diet and exercise
Both Virat and Anushka are in profession that demands them to be in top shape. Kohli is running, jumping, playing cricket all day. Anushka too is dancing, running. They did not become slow after becoming vegan.
So the concept of veganism makes one weak is debunked by Virushka.
