Ranveer Singh Did Not Touch Nutella For His Role In 83!

Ranveer Singh can do anything to get inside the skin of his film characters. Nutella is Ranveer’s favourite snack, but to play Kapil Dev on-screen he gave up his go-to snack and every other food item that contains gluten, sugar or sodium. Ranveer hired nutritionist Anmol Singhal to give him the right advice about diet. Ranveer did not need to lose weight; he just wanted to look leaner.

Here are some meals Ranveer ate to get the desired shape.

Diet

Breakfast: Bacon, eggs cooked in butter or olive oil, and a jalapeno.

Snack: Nuts and mixed berries, sometimes sugar free protein shakes.

Lunch: Grilled chicken and green salad.

Afternoon snack: half avocado.

Dinner: A large portion of grilled fish before 7 p.m.

Drinks: Water, black coffee and black tea.

Exercise

Ranveer was working on other projects while preparing for 83. He did not have time to spend hours in gym. He did not waste time doing cardio, he lifted weight and did exercises that increased his upper body strength. Swimming and running were part of his every day routine, these activities increased his stamina.

Ranveer is working out since he was a teen so getting in better shape for a film was not a big deal for him.
