Anushka Shetty was never fat, but she appeared little healthier last year. This is because she gained 20 pounds for one of her previous films. Anushka finished working on that film and got busy with multiple projects. She had no time for weight loss. Magazines made some crude comments on her and some even said her journey as a leading lady ended. Anushka did not care. However she decided to lose the weight for health reasons. Here is how Anushka became slim again.

Anushka works a lot and she is always traveling. So following certain diet plan is not easy for her. Anushka gave up sweets, junk foods, cold drinks, fruit juices. Anushka only ate home cooked food, while during hotel stay she asked managers to provide her custom meals. Anushka never cheated on her diet and within two months she lost all that extra weight.
Anushka drank fresh coconut water whenever she felt like having a snack.

Anushka tried Yoga and she loved it. Anushka credits Yoga for her new slim body. Anushka practices Yoga for an hour every day. Yoga is her main form of exercise. Anushka also goes for long walks and she loves dancing. These activities keep her fit.
