Actress Anushka Sharma Hired A Chef For Zero Set To Stay Fit, But Was It Necessary?
Actress Anushka Sharma is following a vegetarian diet for sometimes now. Becoming vegetarian was a huge step for one time meat lover Anushka. The actress feels she only got healthier after quitting meat and dairy.
Anushka used to sit on a wheelchair for hours during filming of Zero. The actress is playing character of an emotionally strong but physically disabled woman. Anushka was worried about sitting for hours, she did not wish to intake extra calories from her foods as she was burning very little.

Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif eat high protein diets, they eat meat. There was a chef for cast and crew members on Zero set. But he was making non-veg food, which Anushka no longer eats. Anushka did not want to eat restaurant foods either, so she hired a personal chef who cooked healthy vegetarian foods for her.
This is how Anushka stayed in top shape during hectic filming of Zero. She ate no-oil added roasted vegetables on set. She also snacked on fruits. Natural sugar from fruits and vegetables kept her energetic even though she was sitting for most part of the day.
We cannot hire a chef like Anushka Sharma but we can also eat more vegetables and fruits like Anushka to enjoy better health.
