We do love our curry and rice. But common myth is you cannot eat rice and lose weight. When we hear diet we think of replacing rice with brown bread. However we have good news to share, you can eat rice, curry once a day and still lose weight. Think we are kidding? Keep reading.
Rice And Curry Diet
Breakfast: Egg whites, 4 for women, 6 for men. Vegetarians can have two cucumbers with sugar free homemade peanut butter or soaked almonds.
Lunch: Half cup brown basmati rice and half bowl of vegetable/chicken curry.
You cannot use oil to make the curry. You can use turmeric, ginger, garlic, sweet bell pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon, to make the curry tasty but no oil. You can use homemade tomato paste to give your curry red color. Try to avoid green chili as it can give burning sensation.
Non vegetarians should not eat more than two chicken pieces. Mixed vegetable curry should not be more than a bowl.
Dinner: A cup of homemade tomato soup with carrots.
Try to finish dinner before 6 am and do not have breakfast before 6 am on next day. The 12 hour fasting will be great for your digestive system.
Walk or half an hour after dinner along with curry diet and you can expect to lose 5 lbs in 15 days. This diet can be followed also by elderly and breast feeding women.
