Spinach dal or Palak dal recipe – Healthy and Yummy
There is nothing more delicious than a bowl of dal with the right amount of tarka. Spinach is one of the healthiest vegetables in the world, and today we are going to talk about a recipe which combines these two ingredients perfectly. So get your pen and paper ready.
Ingredients: Dal, garlic, cumin seeds, oil, salt, sugar, spinach, onion, tomato, curry leaves, onion, green chili.
Boil the dal until it softens, after the dal is done keep it is side.
Now prepare the spinach.
Heat some oil in a thick pan, then put the onion and chopped garlic, tomato in oil.
Stir it until it gets golden brown, add the spinach, make sure you cleaned it properly.
Cook all three together until the spinach softens, if necessary add some water in the pan, cover it with a lead, it will be ready in 10 minutes.
Now for the tarka part, heat oil again, put the cumin seeds, and green chilies, stir it for sometimes.
Meantime mix the spinach with the boiled dal, mix it well, put the prepared tadka on top, then some curry leaves to garnish the dal, serve it with roti or rice.
