A cracked heel is a very common problem with every woman and it can increase with the growing age of a person. There are various reasons for crack heel and hence treating them is equally important. Most of the people also suffer from itching, red and swollen skin along with cracked heels. However, taking precautions the right way can help to treat the problem effectively.

- Vegetable oil
There is numerous vegetable oil present in the market and you can use any one among them to nourish your cracked heels. Vegetable oil like olive oil, sesame oil, coconut oil and many others can help to moisturize your feet and also helps to treat dry and cracked areas. All you need to do is massage your feet every day with vegetable oil and leave it overnight.
- Neem leaves
Another effective remedy that can help to treat your cracked heels is using neem leaves. Take a handful of fresh neem leaves and make a fine paste out of it. Now add some turmeric powder and blend it for one more time. Apply this paste on your feets and allow it to stay for at least 30 minutes. Wash off with cold water.
- Rice flour
Rice flour paste can help to treat your cracked heel plus it also helps to remove dead skin thus boost the blood circulation in your feets. To make a scrub, all you need is a handful of rice, honey and apple cider vinegar. Mix all the three ingredients together and apply on your feet. Allow the mixture to be there for 20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.
- Lemons
Another home remedy to treat cracked heel is using lemon because it contains Vitamin C that helps to treat the dry and cracked skin. Add some lemon juice in a tub filled with lukewarm water. Now soak your leg in this water for some time and scrub off the dead skin with a pumice stone. Wash your feets and repeat doing this regularly.
- Rosewater and glycerin
A combination of rosewater and glycerine helps to treat your dry and cracked heels. Glycerine helps to soften the skin and also Rose water adds vitamins A, B3, C, D, and E as well as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.
